Betty White In Chicago For A Fundraiser



Ms. Betty White what a fun gal! She is best know for play the role of Rose Nylund in the "Golden Girls" and Sue Ann Niven in "The  Mary Tyler Moore Show". Also for those crazy commercials during the Super Bowl. Well Betty White is attending a fundraiser her in Chicago August 20 at 5:30 at Baltus Showroom, 220 W. Erie St. I be a silent auctions. Tickets are $200 per person and include the opportunity for a photo with Ms. White.

Two of Bravo's 'Real Housewives' Will Be Attending At Water Place In Chicago



Celebrities will be attending at the Water Place in Chicago starting August 26 through September 8. Two of the Real House Wives will be there Ramona Singer (New York) on the left will be there August 31 and she will be hosting a wine tasting. Teresa Guidice (New Jersey) on the right will be there September 8 signing copies of her books "Skinny Italian".

Chicago's very own Lupe Fiascico Foundation has partnered up with local Chicago religious organizations to feed 100's of  hungry needy people each day until August 31st in abservance of Ramadan. See not all rapper are bad or do bad things.

New Casting Call "for Playboy Club" In Chicago

Chicago casting call for 'The Playboy Club'

NBC new drama series set in 1960"s "Playboy Club" is holding a casting call on August 20 in Chicago. Men, women all ethnicity, ages 18 - 80. Must be available for a one, two, and multiple shoots. Men must be in a dark suite and women in dresses.
'Playboy Club' is set to premier Sept. 19 at 8 pm on NBC.

Jani Lane Lead Singer "Warrant" Found Dead In L.A.

Jani Lane

Jani Lane was found dead a hotel in Woodland Hills at 5:30pm on Thursday. L.A.P.D said the the corner will conduct investigation to what cause his death. Lane had a history of alcohol related arrest and was know to struggle with  his addictions, He was only 47 when he died. My condolence goes to his family.
Jani Lane was the lead singer of a 1980's popular rock band "Warrant. The band was known for the best hit "Cherry Pie" in 1989. Lane has also appeared on VH1 " Celebrity Fit Club" in 2005.

Miranda Cosgrove Tour Bus Involved In An Accident!



Miranda Cosgrove singer and star of Nickelodeon "iCarly" was in Chicago at Six Flags Great America  Tuesday, August 9 doing a performance. Thursday morning Miranda's tour bus was headed to the next concert tour when her driver was involved in an accident on I-70 at Vandalia,IL. There were five passengers on the bus, Miranda suffered a broken ankle but no else was hurt. The tour has been postponed until further notice. To what extent did the other driver suffered as far as injuries is unknown but all parties were taken to the hospital for observations.

Common At A Book Signing Event



John Caramanica will be hosting a NYT author's talk with Common in his hometown Chicago. Common wrote a book called "One Day It'll All Make Sense" and he will be signing copies of the book in Sept. 19 at 6:30 at Paul Robeson Theatre, South Shore Cultural Center. The book will probably be out by Sept. 13 according to amazon.
